HEMINGWAY AT WORK

A one-act play selected to be part of the Manhattan Repertory Theatre Summer 2018 New Works Series: It is about two Republican fighters talking of love, war and politics at a barricade on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain during the Spanish Civil War.

A play that premiered at the Verona Performing Arts Center (WI) in the fall of 2017: All that stands between Willow Goodperson and getting a fifty million dollar donation to save the rainforests of Borneo during her weekend stay in a philanthropist’s creepy mansion is a basement infested with black widow spiders, LaToya Worthy of the Fund to Feed Children and Willow’s nemesis from The Society to Eliminate Cancer, Dr. Constance Carealot.

In the Pipeline: A “variety show” consisting of 8 one-acts separated from each other by monologues. This unique work begins and ends with related one-acts set in England during the Victorian Age.

In the Pipeline: A comedy/drama about a struggling novelist who is inspired by a pipe to be a man’s man and a great writer.

WHEN LIGHTNING STRIKES

In the pipeline: A comedy about a florist who is mistakenly taken for a renowned cartoonist when both men are struck by lightning during a wedding ceremony and haphazardly deposited in a hospital.

In the pipeline: Metaphysical Drama. Is the messianic stranger passing through town just a charismatic existentialist, or is he something more?

OCEAN TAMER

In the pipeline: Drama. The chief librarian of the New York Public Library has a seemingly irrational hatred of her famous father’s poem, Ocean Tamer, which confounds her superior and jeopardizes her career.
